I hate being called "cute" by girls. Yeah, I like the attention from females -- and I know some guys would rather be called "cute" than what girls normally call them. But to me, "cute" is just further affirmation that I'm not attractive to the opposite sex.
Puppies are cute. Floppy-eared bunnies are cute. Nine month old babies are cute. But how often do you see a girl holding hands or making out with a puppy or a bunny or a baby? I don't want to be cute.
