I have learned from several different sources (Burning Light of Reason and ramseysux....) that the band Alkaline Trio is the proverbial "shit". So I decided to check them out. I was able to get about twenty of their songs off of the network. I have listened to all of them and I'm not really impressed with their style; only some of the songs stood out. These are the songs that I have that I enjoy:
- This Is Getting Over You
- Bleeder
- I Lied My Face Off
- My Friend Peter
Their music isn't anything I haven't heard before, but their lyrics are awesome! They are thoughtful, witty, and flow very well from line to line and idea to idea. My favorite song is "Bleeder":
