I'm going home this weekend and taking Mel with me. On Saturday Mommy, Lauren, Mel, and I are going to Bolivar, MO to see a play my brother directed, Tartouffe. Now Mel will finally get to meet Mommy and Joe. She's been saying that she "swears to meet them" for quite some time now (ever since people started posting heavily to the site).
I'm pretty sure Mel and Mommy will get along wonderfully -- most likely a little too wonderfully for my tastes.
As for Joe, for the most part, we have the same taste in friends; so I'm pretty sure they'll get along peachy.
But Lauren is kind of shy and a little cynical. I don't think that Mel and Lauren will have any problems with eachother, but I don't think they'll get along. At least "get along" in the sense of becoming friends. But I guess we'll have to see what happens.
